Be your own barista: fall coffee flavor mix-up!

Today we launched our very first Mug & Moment Coffee Flight (the first of many to come!) and I thought now would be a great time to share some of my favorite ways to mix up fall coffee flavors, so you can create some unique and delicious blends right in your own kitchen!

Let’s dive right into fall coffee and talk about my top 5 favorite roasts and flavors to use, then toward the end we’ll chat about mix-ins!

  • Hello Pumpkin + Caramel = Caramel Pumpkin!
  • Cinnamon Bun + Sugar Cookie = Snickerdoodle!
  • Hello Pumpkin + Hazelnut = Pumpkin Hazelnut!
  • Caramel + Cinnamon Bun = Gooey Caramel Cinnamon Bun!
  • Cinnamon Apple Crumb + Pumpkin = Pumpkin Apple Crumble!

As you can see, the possibilities are pretty much endless. Mixing coffee is a great way to try new flavors and really be in control of customizing your caffeine! If you’re someone who likes flavored coffee but prefers a darker coffee, I would suggest grabbing a bag of Cold Brew or Permanently Exhausted. Our Cold Brew is something you can brew up and keep in the fridge all week. If you’re an iced coffee drinker you can add 1/2 brewed flavored coffee and 1/2 cold brew to your tumbler to really darken up that flavor!

If you’d prefer to brew it all at once, Permanently Exhausted is our best-selling dark roast (because it’s delightfully smooth!) and you can brew it together with your flavored roast(s). To do so, add equal parts to whatever brewing method you choose and enjoy that darker fall coffee!

Mix in sauces and syrups to boost your fall coffee flavor even more.

If you enjoy sweet iced coffee, sauces are a great way to add a boost of flavor and sweetness! Torani makes a variety pack you can pickup right on amazon, or check your local grocery stores for individual flavors. My favorite way to use them is to swirl the inside of my glass and/or drizzle on top of my iced coffee.

  • Caramel: This sauce pairs great with Hello Pumpkin, Cinnamon Bun, Caramel, Cinnamon Apple Crumb & Sugar Cookie
  • Chocolate: This sauce pairs great with Hello Pumpkin and Caramel
  • White Chocolate: This sauce pairs great with Hello Pumpkin & Cinnamon Bun

If you’d prefer not to use sauces, syrups can also be a fun way to customize your coffee, too! Torani offers many multi-packs including traditional and sugar-free.

Make your own sauces and syrups!

I really strive to make this space as value-packed as possible for all my coffee lovers out there. One of the ways I do this is by sharing recipes for you to create these fun, flavored creamers and syrups right in your own kitchen. Not only does it save you some money, but it’s also a simple way to get a feel for what flavors you really enjoy.
